Throughout Just in Time, the author, a yoga instructor, shares her spiritual enlightenment and depicts her close relationship with her grandparents in a metaphysical framework My favorite parts of the book centered around Grandma Rose, a vibrant people person She reminded me of one my favorite aunts I loved her outgoing personality and can understand how she was a big presence in the author s life This is an uplifting read for those searching for joy in each moment of the day. A sweet book written by my friend Karen I especially enjoyed all her stories about her grandmother They touched my heart because I miss and love my grandmother too. yourself with the positive There is much good that comes from forgiving Choose peace I also loved the part about Ellis Rose I had a friend with that condition in high school, and my heart just ached when I read that part. One thing I wished I d been able to experience, were the pictures that were clearly missing That would have really added to the story for me Overall, though, the story was good, and I m glad I read it As Grandpa Moore said, Keep it up, kiddo This was an good read The overall concept of the book can be said in one line and that is Living in time, not in the past or worrying spiritual life Using a brilliant mix of story, message, sign and song, author Karen Rose Callan highlights the connection to what is divine and offers insights and truths which help people who are feeling stuck, blocked or simply out of sync In Callan s own words, I didn t always love life I found life difficult and challenging and suffered from depression and perfectionism as I was growing up After years of focus and understanding, it became clear to me that life is meant to be joyful When we listen and open ourselves to trusting all that is around us, we realize that life is always in our favor We are the ones who make it difficult In the beginning of Just In Time, Callan introduces readers to her influential and outspoken Italian grandmother, Rose, who impacts Callan with her vivacious and extraordinary nature Humor is abundant throughout, passing on the impact of Grandma Rose s laughter filled life to others Callan adds, Her story is not meant to act as a comparison to your own, yet meant to offer you an opportunity to reflect upon your own life, your own relationships, and your own journey What readers have to say Just In Time is an inspired book It brought tears to my eyes and wisdom to my heart Lilias Folan, Yoga pioneer and author of Yoga, Lilias, and You Sometimes the right book comes along at the right time For me that was Just in Time in ways than the title suggests I was grieving over my husband s death and finding it difficult to find joy in my daily life This book inspired me to reflect on who I am and where I am going It offered me insights on how to value myself, and how to find joy again in everyday things This book is well written, the advice gently purveyed, and the sheer love of Karen for her grandmother and life itself shines through on every page A most enjoyable read Reviewer Elizabeth I received this book and opened it atpm thinking I would read the chapter titles and start it the next day After reading three chapters I realized I was still standing up at my kitchen counter, the exact location when I took it out of its box With ease and grace I finished it before midnight feeling deeply connected to the people in the book and also reminded of my own ancestral connections and the signs that I so often see when I am being present The unconditional love that emanates from the story is so beautiful and also a reminder of how much good we do have in us and also shows it s effect on others Beautifully inspired In joy Reviewer JC Cochrane This book reaches people through their defense The biggest thing that hit me was my ego and your recommendation regarding silence The entire book was full of RELIEF I m not sure I ll ever look at things the same way again Since I read the book, I have looked for synchronicity everywhere and it doesn t disappoint It s so strange There is a song called I Will Never Be the Same Again That s what a week of studying your book did to me I want everyone to feel that I can honestly say that to be true I will never be the same again Facebook reviewer Carolyn Kisner
