It took me months ok, years to finish reading this book I was so angry with Oliver and Charles The men were so immature and fickle and undeserving of the respect that they Charles demanded that I quit reading and just started it back up and finished it today Imogene is still the sweet, innocent she was in the prior books but I don t understand how she could accept either of these jerks as her husband. Poor Imogene and poor Oliver Her innocence was sweet but combined with her strong will, it became a stumbling block for all involved The intrigue in the story really raised the bar on this book Thomas and Oliver created such a web of lies, it took a while to untangle it all This makes for great reading. Sneaky twins Charles and Oliver trade places in their teens The eldest son goes off to have a career of his own, while the younger son is brought up to be Viscount Their father dies and the elder son now wants his life back, but the younger son has married in his brothers name New bride Imogene has no idea what is expected of her on her wedding night Having just turned 18 with no conversations of marital relations, she believes babies come after kissing After some twists and spanking discip Sneaky twins Charles and Oliver trade places in their teens The eldest son goes off to have a career of his own, while the younger son is brought up to be Viscount Their father dies and the elder son now wants his life back, but the younger son has married in his brothers name New bride Imogene has no idea what is expected of her on her wedding night Having just turned 18 with no conversations of marital relations, she believes babies come after kissing After some twists and spanking discipline is Imogene ready to submit to her rightful husband This is my favorite in the series so far Imogene is Benedicts sister, we meet her in His Christmas rose She is a very different character She is so innocent and i really felt sorry for her She had no clue whatsoever I can only image how many girls like that, there were in those times. To make things evencomplicated for Imogen, there is also a case of mistaken identity and crossing around the country It was a bit of a comedy to read.. Lord Haffenden dies, that makes Charles Weston the new Lord Charles and Oliver Weston are identical twins with mischief that has carried on for too long they are grown up, and it is time to act like adults and to do what is right The plot of the story kept the pages turning, along with its mystery and suspenseful moments Lies have a way of eventually coming to light, but when those lies deceive innocent people, how can trust continue The story has many people from both His Christmas Rose and Sir Thomas Bride but is told well enough to read as a standalone There is a vast cast of characters, some enlightening moments, many humorous moments that had me laughing out loud, with witty dialog and entertaining scenes Viscount Weston s Bride is a Victorian era story of mistaken identity which
